Mick L.Owens began his career in the financial services profession in 1969 after graduating from Indiana State University with a BS in mathematics. He was heavily involved in risk management, estate planning, and cash flow planning for both individual and corporate clients. As his client base grew and their needs changed, Mick was continually challenged to find ways to provide them with additional financial services. As a result, he founded various companies that now can provide them with such services as tax planning, tax preparation, investment planning, and financial planning. Mick’s Mission has always been to help his clients make their hopes and dreams become living reality. To achieve that Mission, he utilizes a conceptual approach. You must figure out where you are — what you own and owe, what your income and expenses are, your tax situation along with current investment yields — and where you want to get to! His job is to figure out the most tax-wise, efficient manner to get you there. To accomplish that task, his firm belief is that “You Gotta Have a Plan”. Success comes to clients, as with any worthwhile endeavor — because it was planned for. Any venture requires a plan as the foundation.

Mick is a big believer in education. He has received the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from The American College, as well as being a Certified Financial Planner™ practiioner of the CFP® Board of Standards. He annually keeps his knowledge current by obtaining several hours of continuing education credits through the Financial Planning Association and Society of Financial Service Professionals™.
His passion is to continue helping his financial planning clients achieve their goals and objectives.
